Cancellation & Refund Policy

How cancellations, changes and refunds work when your travel is booked with a third-party supplier through our agency, and how we support you through the process.

Please read this first

We are an independent travel agency, not the travel supplier. Cancellation, change and refund decisions are made by the airline, cruise line, hotel, resort or tour operator that provides the service, in accordance with that supplier's own fare rules and booking conditions. We cannot override, shorten or waive a supplier's rules, and we cannot guarantee a refund where the supplier's rules do not allow one.

1. Where your cancellation rules come from

Every travel product carries its own conditions. Before you pay anything, we provide you in writing with:

  • the supplier's cancellation and change rules for your specific booking;
  • deposit and final payment deadlines;
  • which parts of the booking are refundable, partially refundable or non-refundable;
  • any supplier administration or cancellation fees;
  • the effect of not travelling (no-show) on any part of the booking.

These written conditions, not general statements on this website, govern your booking.

2. How to request a cancellation or change

  1. Contact us as soon as possible by email at info@cruisereservationbooking.com from the email address used for the booking, or call the toll-free customer support number shown in the contact section at the bottom of every page of this website.
  2. Include your booking reference, the names of all travellers affected and exactly what you want to change or cancel.
  3. We will confirm receipt and tell you what the supplier's rules allow, what it will cost if anything, and what deadlines apply.
  4. If you decide to proceed, we submit the request to the supplier. A request is not a confirmed change or cancellation until the supplier confirms it, and we will send you that confirmation in writing.

3. Timing matters

Cancellation charges almost always increase as the travel date approaches. Many bookings become fully non-refundable at a defined point before departure. Some suppliers also require written notice within a specific number of hours or days. Please contact us promptly — delaying a decision can materially increase the cost, and we cannot backdate a cancellation request.

4. Refunds

  • Approved refunds are issued by the supplier and are returned by the original payment method wherever possible.
  • Refund processing times are set by the supplier and can take several weeks or longer.
  • Non-refundable deposits, taxes already paid to authorities, and supplier administration fees are generally not returned where the supplier's rules exclude them.
  • Where a supplier offers a credit, voucher or future travel value instead of a cash refund, we will explain the terms and the expiry date in writing.
  • Any commission or service fee we earned on a cancelled booking may be reversed in line with the supplier's rules.

5. Cancellations made by a supplier

If a supplier cancels or significantly changes a service, your options depend on that supplier's policy and on applicable law. Typical outcomes include rebooking onto an alternative departure, a credit, or a refund of the affected portion. We will notify you as soon as we are informed, explain the options clearly and help you choose the best available outcome.

6. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy reduces any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law or under the terms of the supplier you booked with. Where local law gives you stronger rights than a supplier's standard policy, those rights prevail.

7. Travel protection

Because supplier cancellation rules can be strict, we encourage all travellers to consider travel protection covering cancellation, interruption, medical costs and baggage. We can explain the options offered by suppliers, but the decision is yours and we do not provide insurance advice. If you already hold a policy, check the terms carefully before cancelling a booking; some policies require you to claim within a set period.

8. No-shows and unused services

If you do not travel, do not use a service, or arrive after a departure has closed, the supplier will usually treat the booking as a no-show and no refund will be available. Please contact us if you think you may miss a departure so we can help you explore whatever options exist at the time.

9. Requests made by email are strongly recommended

We recommend that all change and cancellation requests are made in writing so that dates and times are documented. If you request a cancellation by telephone, we will follow up by email to confirm what was discussed.
